Tempranillo
Complex and of high density, rich in aromas, it balances strength and fruity character.
It ferments at a controlled temperature around 25°C. Maceration lasts approximately 15 days and aging occurs in new French oak barrels. The aging period may vary each vintage, depending on its characteristics.
Deep cherry-red color of magnificent intensity.
It anticipates a perfumed nose, where memories of abundant red fruit prevail, accompanied by subtle mineral notes, wood, and spices. On the palate, it is powerful, fresh, and expansive, full of nuances: red fruits, cocoa, coffee with milk, smoky notes. Its smoothness, elegance, and long finish leave a pleasant memory.
The Azpilicueta vineyards in Fuenmayor, with irregular soils, topography, and orientation, give rise to a variety of ecosystems.
Each vintage, the plots that will produce the wine are selected.
Delicious with any grilled, pan-seared, or roasted red meat, cured meats, cheeses, fish in flavorful sauces, stews, and legumes.
